Database

Verus utilizes a SybaseSQL Anywhere database with ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) capabilities. This means that Verus users have a proven database solution along with the capability to communicate to other ODBC compliant applications. This is especially useful when integrating to customer and other in-house applications.

Servers

Verus is designed for use in a Client/Server environment with Windows 98, 2000 or Windows NT.

Database Server minimum requirements:

Hardware:
  • Pentium II 500 Mhz processor
  • 128 MB RAM memory
  • 8 - 10 GB RAID 5 storage (RAID is optional)
Software:
  • Sybase SQL Anywhere Database
  • Microsoft NT Server Version 4.0

Desktop/Work station:

Hardware:
  • Pentium 300 Mhz processor
  • 64 MB RAM memory
  • 2 GB hard disk storage
Software:
  • Microsoft Windows NT Workstation, Windows 95, or Windows 98
  • Microsoft Office 97
