Tom Long, Chief
Executive Officer
Tom is a co-founder of Distribution Systems of Kansas City, Inc.,
the predecessor company to LDS. Tom has served as a Director and
CEO since inception. Prior to co-founding Distribution Systems
of Kansas City, Inc., he was a systems programmer in the logistics
division for Bristol Meyers Inc. Tom is an active member of International
Warehouse and Logistics Association (IWLA), Warehouse Education
and Research Council (WERC), Council of Logistics Management (CLM),
International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) and
the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB). Tom
graduated from Central Missouri State University with a BA in
Business Administration.
Mike Markham, Senior
Vice President of Sales
In over 11 years with LDS, Mike served as a support technician
and the Technical Services Manager in the Customer Support Group.
Prior to joining LDS, Mike worked for the Americold Corporation,
a national third-party cold storage business, in various operational
and managerial positions. Mike graduated from the University of
Kansas with a BS in Business Administration.
Bobby Kaemmer,
Senior Vice President of Internet Strategy
Bobby currently serves as Senior Vice President of Internet Strategy.
Prior to his employment with LDS, Bobby worked for Digi Postal
Corporation, a major small parcel distribution systems developer.
During his 8-year tenure with Digi Postal, he was responsible
for management information systems, product support, product development
and product distribution. Bobby is a graduate of Kansas State
University with a BS in Physical Sciences.
Bob Baltzell, Senior
Vice President of Development
Bob Has been with LDS for 20 years and has directed the growth
of the companys primary software product, Accuplus, from
one to over 350 customers. Bob has extensive knowledge of the
Warehouse/Distribution industry from his previous employment at
The Flemming Company and Commercial Distribution Center. Bob has
an Associate of Arts/Business from Columbia College, a Bachelor
of Arts/Accounting from Ottawa University, and an MBA from the
University of Missouri, Kansas City.
